First Responders

 

First responders live in a world that is surrounded by unique and often traumatizing. Trauma not only is experienced by the people they serve but also by the workers themselves. Our society is becoming increasingly more complex and in some cases hostile or even violent toward these people who sacrifice so much. Police, firefighters, EMT's, ER workers and those who support these services carry with them a heavy burden.

In most cases any chaplain services with any first responders is voluntary. Volunteer chaplain services in a lot of cases are undertrained and understaffed. It is our goal to supliment existing programs and provide trained, willing and experienced chaplains to serve in a volunteer role with these city, county, state and other administrations during times of need. These volunteers have expenses and training does come with a cost. Your contributions will be used to help volunteers receive training and ease the burden of expenses.
